Rose Arrangements in Pink Tones styled in Three Different Ceramic Vessels

Many roses in various colors arrived. From them, the pink and red ones were chosen for these arrangements. The day was spent putting these colors into three different ceramic vessels to see how they looked on the shelf. For these setups, clematis, statice, and preserved eucalyptus leaves—materials not typically combined with roses here before—were introduced. The resulting textures brought a completely different mood to the finished displays.

With Clematis

With Preserved Eucalyptus Leaves

A ceramic beer cup serves as the base for three roses clustered tightly inside—two large white blossoms and one tinged with a faint pink hue. The weight of these bright heads is balanced by the sharp, horizontal lines of dried curly willow and a few stems of preserved eucalyptus. The reddish, deep pink tone of the preserved eucalyptus connects naturally with the roses, adding a rich depth to the wide, structural lines.

With Statice

Looking back at these arrangements, the main roses were kept to a minimum—using only one, two, or three stems at most. Yet, their presence remains undeniable. By pairing them with materials like preserved eucalyptus, statice, and dried tetragonanuts, it became clear that a few stems are more than enough to build a complete, sophisticated mood. Careful combinations with these textures eliminate any sense of emptiness, proving that even a single blossom can fully carry a space if styled with intention.

From Living Space to Art Prints

Alongside these daily documentations, I focused on capturing these same arrangements for a series of art prints. In this specific format, the roses showed a completely different expression.
